Ideas

In this section, we're looking for ideas on the roles students, staff, faculty, and national partners could/should play in leading and managing the use of social media.

  • Campus Champion: the lead student(s) who are recruiting, training, supporting, and generally getting everyone excited and active using Web 2.0 tools to enhance their campus service programs
  • Content Provider: the people or organizations who will generate content of various kinds for the wikis, blogs, etc., including:
    • meeting announcements
    • new resources such as:
      • samples of recruitment campaigns
      • reflection questions or articles
      •
    • stories in the form of wiki or blog entries, videos, podcasts, etc. that will be shared with the network
    •
  • Moderator: the people who will administer Facebook Groups, maintain wikis (or sections of wikis), and other common resources that are used by the campus or national network
  • User: everyone else who is participating via Facebook, web debates or discussion groups, etc.
